Built with a thermal cut-off to protect the pump, they feature a non-corrosive shaft that is sealed, waterproof and insulated. Suitable for fresh and saltwater, these adaptive water feature pumps are fully submersible. This flow adjustable feature pump, features a non-corrosive shaft and all line parts are sealed, waterproof and insulated. Disassembly and cleaning is easy thanks to its clever design. Feature pumps can become blocked, so it's a good idea to regularly check for any debris, to make sure your pump remains in optimum working condition.What fittings will I need to install this pump?You'll need to consider how you'll get power to your pump. To comply with UK electrical legislation, pond appliances (such as pond pumps) can't be supplied with a fitted plug, so you'll need to purchase one separately or wire it into an outdoor socket. A 10 m cable is provided, but these do not come with a fitted plug, to allow you to lengthen the cable with a waterproof connector. You'll also need some ribbed anti-kink pond hose and some hose clips to keep the hose firmly attached to the pump.What do I need to consider when setting up a water feature?Water features bring sound and movement to your garden. Things to consider when setting up your water feature are that water features are self-contained and how gravity affects water.Please note: The impeller in this pump is a consumable part. With this being the only moving part of your pond pump, it is exposed to a lot of friction which can cause it to wear down and break over time. This component is not covered by the guarantee and can be purchased as and when required.
